Steamboat at Punggol

A lousy place for steamboat plus no aircon..

REVIEW: The Wolfman

This movie is based on a man who becomes a werewolf and starts killing people. At the beginning of this movie Lawrence was finding his brother, Ben. People from the village told him he had passed away, so therefore he went and look for his father.
And the talking goes on and on. Let me do this review as quick as possible ;) It’s boring and not worth watching it, put your money on something else other than this movie. From start to end it’s just chit chat, only 2 action scenes throughout the whole movie.

Will’s Rating: 3/10
Michelle’s Rating: 2/10

Chinese New Year

Chinese New Year

Happy Chinese New Year! Kung Hei Fat Choi!

Getting many red packets? So far I have 4 in total, I wonder how many would I get today hehe

Last night Michelle and I went to see her grandparents @ Chinese Garden, wow so far away I forgot how many stations there were; but anyway it was nice to see him and he’s still looking very young to me. Since it’s Michelle grandparents of course I have to greet them as Uncle and Aunty, it would be strange calling them as yeye..so na..I’m not in the family yet ;) Uncle and I have been talking for over 90 minutes non stop, I really enjoy talking to him same as last year although I didn’t talk before coz I was too shy. But now I’m more open and less nervous/shy.

After a visit at her grandparents we headed to River Hong Bao. Once we reached there wow and wow, we didn’t expected that there will be a crowd. Packed with people especially elderly people watching the shows. Also there were rides, those fair rides I have been on before on my side. But expensive lor..around $15 for a ride and you gotta be joking. $15 in SingDollars for a 1 minute ride, na..prefer spending it on something else instead. I will be uploading some photos in the moment.

Around 9pm we’re off to Downtown East to catch a movie ‘The Wolfman’. And guess what the movie sucks, it was boring and it is just chit chat. I will be posting a review about this movie, so stay tune.

Okay now I have a tummyache, so I catch you guys later. Gonna see Michelle’s friends/relatives today, so laterz.

Resorts World Sentosa

Thursday 11th of February 2010

On that day we traveled there via cab, the fare was around $25 not cheap leh..overall it’s okai. Too bad the Universal Studios is not open nor the rides in operation, if not we’re gonna go on it. The rollercoaster looks thrilling I wanna try it out with my honey, they said they’re gonna open it around April or so. Why can’t they open now so we can get some fun.. :( I can have fun next time but lo por said she might go with her friend when it’s in operation oh god.. :( me not happy leh

As you can see our photos, the place is still under renovation. Hope it will look great on my 3rd visit here :) I didn’t go into the casino as lo por said it’s too pricey whilst I can go in for free since I’m a tourist. Going in alone seems boring, prefer lo por with me. I’m not scared or anything, but don’t you think it’s weird leaving your partner outside of the casino whilst you’re inside touring around the casino? So I didn’t go, I just accompany lo por around the park and took photos together. We look nice, don’t we?

That’s enough for posting today, I will write another post later tonight as I’m gonna webcam with my parents and wishing them a Happy New Year! Kung Hei Fat Choi!

Valentine’s Day

Happy Valentine’s Day!

Hey peeps, are you enjoying your valentine’s day? We enjoyed ours on Friday 12th of Feb as you know shops and restaurants are closed during Chinese New Year so therefore we celebrated early.

On that day we headed to Suntec City for dinner, and Singapore Flyer in the evening. Since we saw the day scenery, it’s time for the evening scenery hehe I’ll let you know after I have told you about the dinner we had. We went for Korean food as I never tried it before and I would rate poor (will do a review on the restaurant very soon) as the food not nice, well I personally can cook more better than them. Instant noodles in a restaurant :S so wrong, they should make their noodles by handmade..not factory made.

After a disappointed dinner we headed to the bus stop, lo por told me there is a free shutter bus. Okay fair enough so we waited, waited, waited and waiter..it has been over 45 minutes and still no bus. I was getting very impatient I do NOT want to wait here just for the free bus. To avoid surcharges we waited until 8.10pm to catch a cab, much cheaper la..hmm..we were gonna walk but lo por’s lazy to walk haha me too..too hot and sweaty..

At the Singapore Flyer it was very beautiful especially the scenery, very nice..too bad we didn’t get the capsule by ourselves. We had to share it I know it will be busy at this time, oh well as long our anniversary was empty I’m happy. As you can see our photos has been uploaded to the blog, you can have a geek or click the link below to see the gallery.

And once again, I hope you enjoy your day with your partner and receive nice goodies from them. Ahh..you must be thinking what did I buy for my honey. Hmmm…I got her a nice bracelet from Sookee..still my pockets aren’t empty just yet haha only left with a few dollars and coins haha that bracelet is very nice, bling bling.

That’s all for now, I will be writing up one more post in the moment so stay tune. Happy Valentine’s Day!

Chinese New Year Eve

Good day to everyone! Yesterday was the Chinese New Year Eve, I had steam boat with Michelle’s family and I was super super full. I had to exercise around the house..woah..never been that full in my life. There was one thing I noticed around the table, I had the big bowl whereas everyone got a smaller bowl. I was like ‘what the…’ is it I’m special, or I’m a big eater..hmmm..they told me they brought a bigger bowl for me so I can put more food..how nice is that :)

Before the reunion the dinner with them, Michelle and I went to Haw Par Villa and we took the cab as you know la I don’t wanna sit in the bus for 90 minutes although the park was quite boring, overall it’s okay. And guess what I’m brown now, much browner than last year. Whilst walking around the park we heard a few noises,  bubbles from the pond..saw a moving thing, wasn’t too sure what it was though, as soon we both turned around there was a lizard..ooh la la..oh god, lo por got scared and I’m just pretending I’m not scared at all hehe although my heart was beating, I might afraid that it will chase after us haha

Then we headed to Jurong East to grab a bite, IMM here we go…again..hehe had BK there and it was yummy and I didn’t expected the whopper would be that big..plus I had to finish off Michelle’s burger..so full that I just wanna sit there and relax. We walked and browsed around, brought a nice necklace for lo por. It is a limited edition teddy pendant shaped as a princess/girl, it’s very nice indeed. Also I got her 2 nice soft toys, 1 is a baby girl turtle and baby tiger with nappies. They’re so adorable that I wanna hug, but dolls ain’t good for me. I prefer my lovely queen, she’s nice to hug with.

Okay I’m gonna write my other post now, so stay tune for our latest updates.
