Chinese New Year
Happy Chinese New Year! Kung Hei Fat Choi!
Getting many red packets? So far I have 4 in total, I wonder how many would I get today hehe
Last night Michelle and I went to see her grandparents @ Chinese Garden, wow so far away I forgot how many stations there were; but anyway it was nice to see him and he’s still looking very young to me. Since it’s Michelle grandparents of course I have to greet them as Uncle and Aunty, it would be strange calling them as yeye..so na..I’m not in the family yet
Uncle and I have been talking for over 90 minutes non stop, I really enjoy talking to him same as last year although I didn’t talk before coz I was too shy. But now I’m more open and less nervous/shy.
After a visit at her grandparents we headed to River Hong Bao. Once we reached there wow and wow, we didn’t expected that there will be a crowd. Packed with people especially elderly people watching the shows. Also there were rides, those fair rides I have been on before on my side. But expensive lor..around $15 for a ride and you gotta be joking. $15 in SingDollars for a 1 minute ride, na..prefer spending it on something else instead. I will be uploading some photos in the moment.
Around 9pm we’re off to Downtown East to catch a movie ‘The Wolfman’. And guess what the movie sucks, it was boring and it is just chit chat. I will be posting a review about this movie, so stay tune.
Okay now I have a tummyache, so I catch you guys later. Gonna see Michelle’s friends/relatives today, so laterz.
Valentine’s Day
Happy Valentine’s Day!
Hey peeps, are you enjoying your valentine’s day? We enjoyed ours on Friday 12th of Feb as you know shops and restaurants are closed during Chinese New Year so therefore we celebrated early.
On that day we headed to Suntec City for dinner, and Singapore Flyer in the evening. Since we saw the day scenery, it’s time for the evening scenery hehe I’ll let you know after I have told you about the dinner we had. We went for Korean food as I never tried it before and I would rate poor (will do a review on the restaurant very soon) as the food not nice, well I personally can cook more better than them. Instant noodles in a restaurant :S so wrong, they should make their noodles by handmade..not factory made.
After a disappointed dinner we headed to the bus stop, lo por told me there is a free shutter bus. Okay fair enough so we waited, waited, waited and waiter..it has been over 45 minutes and still no bus. I was getting very impatient I do NOT want to wait here just for the free bus. To avoid surcharges we waited until 8.10pm to catch a cab, much cheaper la..hmm..we were gonna walk but lo por’s lazy to walk haha me too..too hot and sweaty..
At the Singapore Flyer it was very beautiful especially the scenery, very nice..too bad we didn’t get the capsule by ourselves. We had to share it I know it will be busy at this time, oh well as long our anniversary was empty I’m happy. As you can see our photos has been uploaded to the blog, you can have a geek or click the link below to see the gallery.

And once again, I hope you enjoy your day with your partner and receive nice goodies from them. Ahh..you must be thinking what did I buy for my honey. Hmmm…I got her a nice bracelet from Sookee..still my pockets aren’t empty just yet haha only left with a few dollars and coins haha that bracelet is very nice, bling bling.
That’s all for now, I will be writing up one more post in the moment so stay tune. Happy Valentine’s Day!
Chinese New Year Eve
Good day to everyone! Yesterday was the Chinese New Year Eve, I had steam boat with Michelle’s family and I was super super full. I had to exercise around the house..woah..never been that full in my life. There was one thing I noticed around the table, I had the big bowl whereas everyone got a smaller bowl. I was like ‘what the…’ is it I’m special, or I’m a big eater..hmmm..they told me they brought a bigger bowl for me so I can put more food..how nice is that
Before the reunion the dinner with them, Michelle and I went to Haw Par Villa and we took the cab as you know la I don’t wanna sit in the bus for 90 minutes although the park was quite boring, overall it’s okay. And guess what I’m brown now, much browner than last year. Whilst walking around the park we heard a few noises, bubbles from the pond..saw a moving thing, wasn’t too sure what it was though, as soon we both turned around there was a lizard..ooh la la..oh god, lo por got scared and I’m just pretending I’m not scared at all hehe although my heart was beating, I might afraid that it will chase after us haha
Then we headed to Jurong East to grab a bite, IMM here we go…again..hehe had BK there and it was yummy and I didn’t expected the whopper would be that big..plus I had to finish off Michelle’s burger..so full that I just wanna sit there and relax. We walked and browsed around, brought a nice necklace for lo por. It is a limited edition teddy pendant shaped as a princess/girl, it’s very nice indeed. Also I got her 2 nice soft toys, 1 is a baby girl turtle and baby tiger with nappies. They’re so adorable that I wanna hug, but dolls ain’t good for me. I prefer my lovely queen, she’s nice to hug with.
Okay I’m gonna write my other post now, so stay tune for our latest updates.
Reached Singapore
Hey guys and girls I have reached Singapore hooray..I’m so happy that I can spend my time with her. Here’s an update:
26/01/2010
As soon I arrived at the airport I quicky jog to the immigration area, grab the form and start filling it out. Then went to the duty free wine shop to buy wine for my mum-in-law, I know we’re not married but still I’ll always treat my honey very well and her family too. After that I went to the belt and this time I didn’t need to wear my glasses and you know what. I want to give my honey a surprise, I want her to see me without my glasses. So I look more cute and handsome hehe I saw her standing there but too bad no hugging as my hands were carrying my suitcase and the other was the wine bag. Anyway she was so beautiful that I wanna drool. What a beautiful weather, it’s 31 degrees. I’m used to the weather as long it’s not too hot
Stopped at her house to drop off my luggage, and pass red packets to her and to my bro-in-law. Lo por was very surprised when I gave her the red packets and she likes the dress that my mum brought for her. Okay then we went to White Sands as lo por mentioned a few days ago, we went to the top floor and to the foodcourt. Didn’t go to any restaurant or tried any spicy/heat food as lo por’s cough still haven’t recovered yet. After eating we went back home and start unpacking my things.
27/10/2010
I woke up around 9.30am it was a lovely sleep, had a chest pain took the inhaler immediately; feel fine after 30 minutes. Minutes later my dad-in-law came in, saying he’s going out for work and asked me if I would like to have breakfast and coffee. I told him I will eat it in the moment as I still have difficulties in breathing. Then mum-in-law came in, asked me what kind of buns I wanna eat. I told her I can eat anything, not a fuss on buns
Ten minutes later she brought in the buns and coffee to me, and of course I said thanks many times. I think I thanked her more than 5 times hehe
Ooooo guess who’s coming into the room, it’s lo por jai. She told me what time did I wake up, and eaten your breakfast yet AND coffee??? Woke up at 9.30am and all full hehe Well her mum did come into the room and offered so I cannot reject it.
We went to the Tampines shopping centre to exchange money, and have a browse around. It’s quite packed today and met a few IMPOLITE people..for example bumping into you with apologising or giving way without saying thanks. Hell..alot difference from UK, UK people more friendly and very polite but that depends. We went to the cinema, Golden Village to watch Avatar. Oh my god, that movie is freaking brillant, 9/10. I just feel that there is something missing but anyway the best movie from all times, nothing beats Avatar. No wonder my sis told me to watch it, it’s so nice. And the movie is very long too, 2 hrs and 40 mins…okay after the movie we start to feel hungry. We decided to eat at Kim Gary, and it was delicious like mad. We both had the same meals but different meat, I had pork and she had fish. I can’t remember the name of the course now lol I will let you know soon.
After we went to Ikea, Courts and that placr begins with G I think. I didn’t look at the sign haha but lo por did tell me about it hehe I’m getting old now lol The stores were big and there were a lot of things to see, we spent an hour or so browsing around and managed to buy buns, puffs and sushi for her family. When we decided to leave the store we were shocked, the queues were mad. A line of people I never seen that long queues before wow wow wow ten minutes of waiting it’s okay, we were gonna leave and drop the buns and crap there coz the line is just too long. At 10pm we brought the goods and catched the bus home.
Okay now it’s Thursday and the time is 3am and I’m still awake I don’t feel that tired at all. Maybe lo por has passed all of her energy to me hehe Okay I go bed now and will give you an update. Bye!
Overjoyed as honey is coming next year
Hi folks, its been a long long time since I last posted here. Start to get more and more lazy haha. Well, honey told me yesterday that he wanted to see me write something here so here I am, are you happy honey? He was not feeling well lately and quite worried about his health. I really hope he will recover very soon.
How is christmas for everyone this year? I received a very special and meaningful presents from honey and I love it very much and touched too. Start to think what is it? haha. Well its a bottle with seashell, sand and most importantly a message from honey. The message comes from the bottom of his heart and he spends few days drafting the message. Its beautifully written and im sure it will be even more beautifully written if its by honey himself. I simply love his handwriting and it looks so nice. Do you like your handwriting, honey? To give it to me as a christmas present, he has to pay more money for express service and overall, the present is expensive yet priceless to me. Im very very happy and touched and thank you lo gong! :-*
Time flies so fast as it will be year 2010 in a couple of days time. Is everyone excited that new year is approaching us? Any wishes for next year? Well mine has come true as honey is coming to SG in Jan next year and really cant wait for him to come. When he told me the good news though its via sms as he was busy working, I am overjoyed and very excited. Almost cant sleep on that night. Hope time will flies even faster. Wish to spend more time together and go shopping, watching movies, eating, especially to Singapore Flyer and zoo. :p This time he is going to spend almost 1 month in SG and hope that we wont cry when he departs from SG. Of course I still have other wishes but I wont tell you guys haha.
Ok guys, Im going to take a shower and I shall stop here. Im going to wait for honey’s call and will catch up with you very soon. Happy new year!
Orchard Road
On 28th of Jan me and lo por went to Orchard finding a handbag for my mum and sis..had to find a different since the other one Bonia is out of stock..and it is limited edition. It shows that we have good taste..hehewent around so many shopping centres that my legs are not tired at all..also I got extra spots on my face…oh my god..I look ugly now..hope I will look more handsome and sexy on my second trip soon..around in June..so I can watch Transformers 2 with my sweetheart.
Later in the evening we had to go to lo por’s house and stayed there for a while, wow her semi-detached house was so big..bigger than the ones in the UK. And the price is quite reasonable, around $1.1 million..that’s around 400,000 pounds..it has 4 rooms..all master-en-suites..and a nice big living room. Hopefully I can have a nice house in the future hehe
