We checked-in at the hotel 2.30pm at the counter. So our rooms will be at level 44 and that is high, I hope I don’t get sick once I get there.
The lifts were classy, each level is required a room card. Feel kinda dizzy at level 44, must be the lift. As we walked down the hallway, each and every room is encryted by a room card. I got confused with the room number as it states 4419 and 4420. Room info pack were provided by the staff, a total of 4 keys which 2 belongs to 1 room.
Me and Marco stayed in 4419 whilst Michelle and Calister stayed at 4420. Thank god there is a walk-thru door in between the rooms.
The room was fairly big, I had 2 single beds whilst Michelle had a king size. It’ll be strange for 2 guys sleeping in the same bed, right?
Bathroom is very posh indeed, everything is included except the private bar facility. We did not try out the in-room dining as it was too expensive. So we decided to go out and eat, Todai Buffet Restaurant.
At Todai you can have anything you want from S$55 per person. Dim sum, Italian, Korean, Chinese, Western, Japanese, Sushi and many more. Also they have a nice drink selection, had sprite and iced tea. I think we stayed there for 2+ hours and I gotta say I was so full I can barely move an inch.
Went to the Sky Park and took some photos, and wow the night view is so beautiful.
Getting quite late so we went down back to our rooms, showered and watch a bit of TV then bed. The bed was so comfy, you can sleep another night there.
Were going to visit the Sky Park again for a swim, but I was very lazy and stayed in; it must be the buffet LOL Never overeat if you are already full, it kills.
Overall experience was great, I highly recommend this hotel to anyone. Price is okay, you expect to pay at least S$350 excluding tax per room. If you want a comfortable, cooling and a peaceful environment this is the place.
But that’s not all, shopping centre is right next door with all the top brands in the world. Many great restaurants you can dine, pizza, dim sum, western and a food court.
Ease of transportation you can use bus, cab is available all times, train is also available at Bayfront.

Spent hours in Tampines

I regretted that we came out so early, should have stayed home a little bit more longer. We reached Tampines at 10.15am ish walked around the 2 shopping centres, from here to there and everywhere. Man, the sun is like lava burning deeply into your skin, no sun burnt so far.
I need some ice on my forehead..thinking where to go next, how about Swensons? We can stop there for some ice cream
We ordered US fries, with Gold Rush sundae and Chendol Delight. During our wait I have been starring at my honey and also she asked me “What are you looking at?”..you, cars and trees *we both giggled* We sat by the window and all we can see were cars, trees, grass and people. What else you wanna see other than those lot?
The fries has arrived, 2 pots of different sauces Hmmm..why not we dip it on both sauces it may taste more nice. We did and we loved it so much. Icecream came and I said to lo por, “You know, some people like to dip their fries to the ice cream..” she told me she’s one of them, I never done that before. Tried a few and it was nice. The Chendol Delight was nice, but super sweet and it made me fart all day long, it had red bean. Everytime I have red bean I have a lot of gas, cannot fart non-stop. Tried Gold Rush too, the coffee ice cream tastes so nice as well. After eating we continued to stay there for another 30-40 minutes..talking about my things and what’s up with “Ham sup bill” LOL
We left the place at 1.45pm walked around again, until we got so tired we had to sit down and take a short rest. We were both deciding whether to go home and relax, or stay at Tampines. I told her why not like this la we go home and relax I mean lo por jai did wake up so early to fetch me and plus I had 2 days without any sleep. We went home by bus, taking forever..should of taken the train and bus, although it’s gonna be the same time.

Arrived Safely in Singapore

Yes. I’m in Singapore at 7.45am way too excited and still on 2 layers which it’s like 26-28 celsius. Back to the sunshine and relaxation hooray. After immigration I brought 2 Icewine for me and my misses to enjoy. You gotta have some Icewine in this hot humid weather
Grabbed my suitcase and a customs officer came up to me, that my suitcase has to be scanned. Yea why not I have nothing to be scared off.
Wow I saw my beautiful lo por in her floral dress, she looked more young than before and very stunning. *drools* I’m so lucky to have her as my wifey My hands weren’t empty so we didn’t hug…made a quick decision whether to eat at airport or go home and leave luggage. Eventually we went home and dump my bags there, off to White Sands for breakfast (will post a review soon).

On my way to Singapore. Why does the time go so slow?

The plane was meant to leave at 10.55am but instead it took off at 11.35am, 30 minutes late. One of the crew did say it will definitely be on time (Thank god for that).
Sat in the plane for 13 hours, either try to sleep, watch movies and play games. Once you’re in a plane the time is so super slow, I checked my watch every 20 mins so aggravating.

Okay I’m at the departure gate waiting again..something nasty just happened. I see this elderly couple, the lady was picking her nose and ate the beast. Yuck! Gross. Do it in private ma or cover up your mouth or something.

Been waiting and waiting for the gate number to be shown on the board. So I decided to go for a quick toilet, that should be enough time to update. But still, 15 more minutes to the clock. As I went passed a gadget store I decided to purchase a nice pair of earphones for my uncle; since his other pair does not work on all media devices.
Bonus! My gate number is on the board, it’s gate 1..woah. I had to walk like 10 minutes on my DC shoes and man they were heavy like mad. Went passed a perfume store…ooo I see Marc Jacob’s perfume Daisy. I brought the 100ml bottle for my misses, slightly cheaper than online
Will post another update soon.

Tired at the Airport

Hey folks, I’m now at Heathrow sitting at the lounge, not so packed today maybe it’s morning. I reached the airport at 6.45am, stood outside for an hour as I was on the phone with my honey and mum; letting them know that I reached London.
I also took a snapshot of the departure entrance.
The gate should open at 9.40am, not long now an hour left…
I can’t wait to see my misses now, dying to see her and hold her hands
Will post another update before the plane takes off.

Time flies like mad! Already Sunday and the time is ticking. Chy-Meor Flight Connections will be collecting me in an hour time, taking me to Heathrow yay..give my wifey a quick phone call, luggage check-in, and walk around the airport for 3 hours. Will post another update when I reach Heathrow. Ciao!

I’m so excited now, so happy and overjoy in the next 24 hours or so. Around 25 hours I will be leaving home and travel to Heathrow, should reach there at 6.45am. Got to check in around 8am so I have an extra hour at the departure hall..good..I can give a bell to my misses, have a short fone chat while I stand indoors and maybe a cup of coffee Will post another update tomorrow morning..
